Writing
Here’s how it works. Before the first lesson, your IELTS tutor will send you official IELTS task 1 or task 2 questions. You write your response at home and then email it to your tutor. Your IELTS tutor will make comments on your writing, so that you can think about your errors and/or edit your responses. Later, during the online lesson, your tutor will evaluate your performance, providing precise information on your band scores, why you achieved those scores, and how to improve on them. If necessary, your IELTS tutor will send you notes on task achievement, coherence and cohesion, specific grammar or vocabulary issues, as well as links to sites where you can improve your skills and access plenty of sample essays.
Speaking
For the speaking part of the IELTS test, your IELTS tutor will conduct a mock speaking test with you, and if you like, record it. You will then listen to the recording with your tutor, who will then explain everything you need to improve your performance. If you need help improving your fluency or pronunciation, your IELTS tutor will give you a step-by-step method that you can use at home to help you speak more clearly, more naturally, and much more like a native speaker.
